Passing On Credit For Your Struggle

stack_of_booksThere are very few joys in life that can compare to the joy associated with reading a good book. The books which we like the most are the ones which make us think of our own struggles. We might start seeing the results of this empathy after many years, but it doesn’t always help us deal with our own demons.

Still gospel teaching isn’t the way to go. Education, hard work, faith, and wise choices are what bear the best fruits. God is not going to favor you simply because you are thinking positively. There are actual hardships that others are facing. Yours pale in comparison to theirs.

We make lots of mistakes when we are younger and we tend to learn from them. But this doesn’t mean we don’t have to work hard on overcoming them. It is all about a process. This process is quite different from one person to the next. Some may taste success early on in life, others may take a number of years and may still not see things the right way.

While uplifting messages can have a positive impact, it is not the way to go as far as your life is concerned.

You don’t have to go crazy trying to be something or somebody that you aren’t. You may get knocked down. You may not have the answers right away. Life may not even be fair at times. You might need some help. You should never be afraid to ask others for it.

You are the one person who knows yourself better than anyone else does. You need to trust your instincts. Take credit for going through your struggle and give credit to others when it is deserved. Everyone is trying the best that they can. Avoid toxic situations but do not dismiss them completely, you can’t always run away from them.
